Just the penultimate moment of the World Series, and Fox immediately cuts to a commercial instead of staying with the Sandman moment as Mariano comes in. Disgraceful.

Wow, the media interrupted the perpettual blowjob of the Yankees? Boo-frickin’-hoo. Hopefully someone brings H1N1 into the clubhouse celebration.

Todd — I’m not a Yanks fan but John is right. Fox’s coverage is a disgrace.

Not a Yankee fan either, but I said exactly this to my wife as it happened. Fox blew so many potentially great television moments throughout the playoffs, cutting away to “pay the bills” (which I know they have to do, but come on…show the commercial while Rivera’s warming up).

They missed opportunities to entertain, which is, I think, the point of televising the games in the first place.
