Wrong guy from Seattle. We need Beltre…not Sexson. Bowker needs to play daily…and will put up better numbers than Sexson in the long-run. We need to show conviction to rebuild.

I take back much of my posts that claimed the Gigantes could compete in the NL Worst…stating on many occasions “that anything is possible” From upper mgmt to field mgmt…this is one of the worst in baseball. I was speaking from my heart…and that too…was left long ago in San Francisco.

No need to comment on Bochy…speaks for itself. I’m sick of the youth being buried on the bench. What was that all about with Denker and Horowitz. Nice work on the psyche for the kids. Walker is now a full time member of the Arson Squad. Let’s continue to run him out as set-up. Give Hinshaw a legit shot at it.

you sign sexson if you have a good team and a chance in the race…you dont sign him if you are rebuilding…he was released for one reason…after his last injury, he just sux

sabean sux…he has never been a good gm…he got lucky with kent (who was a throwin for the guys he really wanted who never amounted to a hill of beans) he got players from a marlins firesale, he got lucky with schmidt (who may very well have been juicing it) since then, he aint done squat, and he cant say the team is rebuilding, cuz then the fans get to see how bad the farm system really is

Most of your points are valid but one is way off the mark and way different then all the rest. Signing Richie Sexson would be about aa stupid a move as the Giants could possibly make. John Bowker needs to be given a chance to play everyday including against lefties. Signing Richie Sexson would be just adding to the mistake of playing Rich Aurilia against lefties to steal ABs from Bowker.

What the Giants need to do is trade Randy Winn so that Nate Schierholtz can play everyday, trade Ray Durham so that their assortment of young infielders can get his ABs, and either get Omar Vizquel to agree to retire of DFA him if he doesn’t so that his ABs too can go to our assortment of young infielders.

Sabean has really incriminating photos of Brandon Webb, Russell Martin, Jake Peavy, and Matt Holliday, which, when used, will make those four teams tank and the Giants will win the West with a 72-90 record. Then, using the same loop hole that got Francisco Rodriguez in the playoffs in 2002, we’ll bring up our 16-year old Rodriguez (the rule only works with folks named Rodrigeuz) who will instantly become our #4 hitter and will carry us on his back to a World Series title.
