I agree... I only turn on the game these days when Lincecum is pitching (or Zito, because you can't resist a trainwreck). As some here predicted, the Giants showed some zest and life early in the season, but now reality is setting in and setting hard.

John,

Amen to that John. But, please do not take a hiatus. OBM is all I look forward to this year. Somewhere Barry is smiling...Bonds that is. This is what happens of years of riding Bonds tails...without building a foundation. Sabaen is like a sales rep. who survived on others revenues. One must wonder if Sabaen has been a puppet to Peter all these years. I cannot believe Sabaen would still have his job if many of these decisions were his. Most likely, we will never know.

I have said for years that the G's are more concerned with marketing...than winning. Thank God for MLB Extra Innings...watching other teams truly gives you an appreciation of baseball...and how bad the G's rreally are.

I've turned to at least three Giants games at the exact time as they "run" (or get picked off) themselves out of an inning. Tonight? 9th inning, same thing. I'm with you John, I've turned my attention and sporting time to soccer in Spain and England

schulman has yet to post the entire interview, but for the life of me, i cant see it making sabean look any better

sure, a gm cannot say in may that his team is out of it, but he can be realistic...both the fans and the players can take it

and why is it that immediatly after the piece came out did the vets start getting the majority of the playing time?

any word on this past years draft picks? How are they looking? I know we got some good pitchers, but I'm hopeful that the outfielder we took, farrelly, can pan out into something.
