…. Big little man

After last night’s 1-0 win, the Franchise ran his record to 4-0, while the Giants are now 5-0 in Lincecum’s games, and 5-13 in games in which he doesn’t appear. As I said last week, 1-0 wins are pretty rare, but it seems like a sure bet that the G-men are gonna be involved in quite a few of them.

sanchez and timmy are now tied for 2nd in the majors for ks

and every time they play the majority of kids, there is much to enjoy on the field

the team’s record and placing are currently an illusion…but who cares

this is the first time in 4 years that i have enjoyed watching them….that is, until zito takes the mound again

Uncle Joe,

I do agree. Watching Lincecum is a treat. Lewis is looking better every day, Burriss could be promising….. I like Aurilia, he’s always been good guy, Durham, I could do without.

But, you’re right.

The team has a few surprisingly watchable parts. Bowker especially.

For me, seeing youngsters develop skills as they scrabble to establish an MLB career is one of the most enjoyable aspects of being a fan.

Just Plain Fun to watch someone at the precipice of of a lifetime dream fighting for it.

Man, it’s really great to see Jonathan Sanchez maturing as a pitcher — I’ve always felt he was underrated being in the shadow of Cain and Lincecum. 8 innings, 1 run, and another Giants win. I know it’s early, and I hardly think they’ll maintain this 11-13 pace, but many of us did underestimate this team, I’ll say that much.

It wouldn’t surprise me if the Giants end up with the most 1 run wins and the most 1 run losses. Its the nature of their pitching prowess and offensive deficiencies.

I typically pick fantasy closers on teams that are going to win a lot of games. However, in an anomaly with the Giants this year, I have picked up Brian Wilson as one of my closers. The Giants will be in a ton of save opportunities this year because of their lackluster offense. Pretty much every win they get this year will probably be a save opportunity. LOL
