Actually, it would be kind of sweet if Cashman gets dumped. There would be an immediate opening that hopefully would be filled by Brian Sabaen. He could return to the East Coast, and bring his jackass high school buddy Joe Lebevre with him along with the homeless Padres Mgr and assorted other foul beach flotsam that drifted up from San Diego. If it takes the obnoxious Mets and their obnoxious fans to win a title to facilitate the departure of Brian Sabaen, let the playoffs begin. Not a damn thing worth a shit is going to happen here as long as tools like Baer, Sabaen, Boche and the rest of the “ballpark experience” mynas are running the birdcage at 3rd and King.
